Adoption Requirements:
Age Requirement: Adopters must be at least 21 years old, or have a parent or legal guardian co-sign the adoption paperwork.
Cat-Safe Home: Your home must meet LUNI's safety requirements, including meshed windows and balconies.
Commitment to Care: You must be prepared to provide essentials such as nutritious food, clean litter, scratching posts, toys, and daily love and attention.
Please review our Adoption Process, Cat Safety Guidelines, and Adoption Requirements via the links below before applying.
If you’re ready to adopt, fill out our adoption enquiry form. We aim to review applications within 3–5 working days and will contact you directly.
Adoptions must take place within two weeks of a confirmed reservation. As professional meshing can take several weeks, we strongly encourage adopters to mesh their homes before applying – or at the very least, obtain quotes and timelines from meshing companies in advance.
As all our volunteers have full-time jobs, we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.
Important Notes:
LUNI Singapore reserves the right to make the final decision on all adoption applications. Submission of an enquiry form does not guarantee approval and all applicants must undergo a thorough screening process.
We ask that all communication with our team is conducted respectfully. Our volunteers dedicate their time and care to the cats and kittens, and we expect interactions to reflect that respect.
behind every adoption
Our dedicated fostering team works behind the scenes to prepare cats and kittens for adoption into loving homes. From coordinating health checks to matching cats with the right families, they ensure every step of the journey goes smoothly.
All cats and kittens in our programme receive thorough health checks at our partner vets. Kittens receive at least one vaccination and are dewormed and treated for fleas, while adult cats are also sterilised and microchipped. We test one kitten per litter and all adult cats for FIV/FELV.
Kittens under six months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with a resident cat. Bonded adult pairs may also need to be adopted together, at the fosterer's or adoption team's discretion.
